    Founder

    Before starting Creative Hope, Jason worked over 7 years in manufacturing and product development in various industries from consumer products to industrial equipment. Jason had the privilege of competing as a NCAA Division I tennis player at the Georgia Institute of Technology while earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Jason is also the student pastor at the Atlanta Korean Baptist Church in Northeast Atlanta and is active collaborating with local Asian-American faith leaders. He, his wife Laura, and sons Caden & Landon live in north-east Atlanta and works hard to indoctrinate his sons with Star Trek and Legos.

    Executive Director

    Jacob was born and raised in the Atlanta. He is a true southern boy. He grew up playing piano, and later picked up the guitar and began dabbling in photography and design. After graduating from Georgia Tech in 05 with a degree in management, he began working at Better World Books learning about social entrepreneurship, business, as well as doing media and design. In 2011, Jacob moved on to work with his wife at Esther JuLee Photography and also connected with the Creative Hope team! Outside of his day to day work, he leads worship at Open Table Community, plays in an acoustic band called the Fu, and enjoys going backpacking.

    Creative Director

    The majority of Hiu’s life was conducted in West Africa, where his parents work as missionaries. Being part of their ministry, he found himself always yearning to help, but not knowing how to do it. After graduating from SCAD in 2009 with a BFA in Graphic Design, he pursued a dream of not only being a great designer, but creating instruments to inspire and influence. Aside from trying to save the world, he enjoys a wide array of active sports, playing guitar and trying different foods.

    Marketing Director

    Growing up, Esther always had a love and appreciation for the arts. She picked up her first SLR in high school and almost a decade later founded her own photography company allowing her to shoot weddings and portraits all over the world. She has always loved the story-telling aspect of photography. Through missions in various countries over the years, she discovered her passion for capturing stories of hope during adversity and continues to do so through Creative Hope. When she’s not busy taking photos, she enjoys eating good food, traveling, & taking care of her two tabby rescue cats.
